From MIA to Podcast Launch?

As someone who had a very brief crush on Muammar Gaddafi, I should be concerned by the type of men I am attracted to. To clarify, I just really liked the photo of him on our history textbooks in high school (he was still very young), not sure if that qualifies as a crush.

For me, it’s always either the Gaddafis, drug lords or people who have something twisted about them (as I may have overshared in this post.)

When I search deeper, I don’t think it’s the bad that they do. Drug lords for example, more so if they are Mexican, Colombian, Puerto Rican or Cuban! I want to say it’s their work ethic blah! blah! blah! But no. I can’t explain why but I am always drawn to them. I know it’s not the drugs or the violence because I loathe both. It could be how they are portrayed if there is a common thing with all of them. 

At this point, I have made peace with the fact that a “God-fearing Cardi B” is borderline impossible. Similar to how a “Christian Christian Grey” may be a little too grey for me as a Christian. Have I given up though?

Back to my choice of men! Well, I’m barely making any choices in this area at the moment. I believe in experiencing all your experiences. Taking time to discover yourself, what you like, what you dislike and why.

Meanwhile, I have been flirting with the idea of starting a podcast. I have the name, content plan and general structure already laid out. I hope you are going to love it.
